Over vacation I reread Ann Voskamp’s The Broken Way. I was convicted by this quote:
The only way to live a truly remarkable life is not to get everyone to notice you, but to leave noticeable marks of His Love everywhere you go.
Thank you for choosing to leave “noticeable marks of His Love” on the children of the Kings Center through your prayers, your cards, and your gifts. Because of you the children are enjoying a full spring break with a hot lunch, lots of engaging activities, and three fieldtrips. Last week they went bowling and Natalee & Gerald reported that we have some awesome bowlers!
On Saturday our KC steppers entertained all the volunteers at the Reforest Frankfort Celebration at Cove Spring Park. We have a video and hope to upload it to our Facebook page. Today the children are enjoying lots of hands-on activities at the Explorium in Lexington. Next week the children will be going to Marjorie Willis’ art studio to learn about painting as they complete their own canvases.
I can’t believe we are coming to a close on the school year 😎. Our annual dinner and silent auction will be here soon. This is our major fundraiser so I’ll be keeping you informed about the details😀 soon.
Thanks again for “noticing” our kids in such special ways!❤
